How Two Founders Are Bringing the Equestrian World Into the Future
For years, stable managers have had the same quiet complaint:
“Why hasn’t anyone built something better?”
Outdated interfaces. Half-baked features. Zero innovation. And somehow, these were the only tools available for running a professional stable. Until now.
The Breaking Point
Noël Wuyts had seen enough. With a passion in equine sports and a background in software development and years of experience as an IT entrepreneur, he kept running into the same problems: essential stable routines—health tracking, nutrition, breeding, training, finances—scattered across whiteboards, WhatsApp groups, and clunky tools that hadn’t been updated in a decade. At some point, it stopped being annoying and became unacceptable.
“The equestrian world is high-performance. Why shouldn’t our software be too?”
He started sketching out what a modern system should look like: intuitive, powerful, built around the real workflows of top professionals. Not more complexity—less. Not a hundred tabs—just what matters. And it had to scale, because serious stables don’t stay small.
Adding Product Firepower
That’s when he partnered with Thomas Cornet—an experienced product builder who’d launched apps with startups and SMEs across industries. Thomas brought a fresh, UX-driven lens to the challenge. Together, they started building not just a platform—but a new standard.
“We weren’t just fixing software,” Thomas says. “We were rethinking how a stable should run in the 2020s and beyond.”
Built for High-Performance Stables
In May 2025, Equihub was born: the latest generation in stable management software.
It was more than a fresh coat of paint.
- One platform replaced dozens disconnected tools.
- Innovative technologies such as NFC and AI
And it actually looked and felt like something from this decade.
The mission was clear from day one:
To help top equestrian professionals train smarter, run smoother, and give their horses the care they deserve.
Not just manage operations, but optimize them.
"Finally, an alternative we can switch to."
That’s what they kept hearing.
Top stables like Stal Kersten and Philippaerts were among the first to make the leap.
“With one tap, I get everything I need about a horse. No more digging,” said Lars Kersten.
Equihub wasn’t just another software product. It was relief. It was finally.
The Bigger Picture: Tech Meets Tradition
Equihub sits at the crossroads of two worlds: tradition and technology. It doesn’t replace horsemanship—it enhances it. By removing friction, it gives time back to trainers and caretakers. By applying smart tech like AI and real-time syncing, it reduces mistakes and lifts performance.
“The stables that win tomorrow,” Noël says, “Are the ones that run smarter today.”
What's Next
Equihub is just getting started. With stables across Europe and a growing fanbase, the team is doubling down on development, onboarding, and support. The goal? To be the invisible co-pilot behind every high-performing stable.
